WEEKEND BLISS

Finally a few pics from my fab - 4 day- scrapbooking retreat! I made 46 layouts! I ate way too much food..... laughed way too hard.....and just enjoyed myself & my table mates very much! I was a 5 star get-away! There was a little PJ fashion show with a red carpet, some gals made their PJ's all from paper! Others did a lil redneck couture. I will have some pics of layouts soon. I have been a little busy this week. So enjoy what I have up thus far.

FATHERS DAY!!

Happy Fathers Day to all those dad's out there!
I felt horrible today (sick) today. I woke up at 3 am with the worst headache ever and I kept going down hill. So , needless to say Jeff did not receive a Fathers Day breakfast- he fed the kids, got them dressed for the day and then he mowed the lawn. Once I finally crawled out of bed I took a shower in the hopes that I would be able to go with the family to Kendrick for a BBQ with Jeffs dad......I didn't make it- I went back to bed and sleft until 3:30! The kids made Jeff an apron to wear when he BBQ's, it turned out really cute. I would show a pic but Jeff left it in Kendrick. They also got him a Dale Jr. tank top- which he wore today and Jr. WON!! I was able to drop off my dad's gift and card, although they were not home.
This week I have to get ready for my scrapbook retreat. I either need to make little kits for each set of pictures, or just bring everything! We'll see what happens. Jayton has two games this week and I am still on mandatory OT.

update time

Well, the yard sale was a success. Both the kids clothes flew out the door....my stamps flew out at a record pace too. I was pretty tired & cold when the day was done!



Speaking of cold!! What the heck! It is June and it is snowing all around us. I know we live in Idaho but come on- "Mr. Sun, sun, Mr. golden sun please shine down on me......"



I have been creating, squeezing in quick lil creative moments. I am signed up for the Sketch 101 class so that has been inspiring me. I have never really used sketches when I create my layouts so this class will really struggle me to move outside the box. Here is a layout & card that I did. Hopefully at the scrapbook retreat next weekend I can whip out some stuff from the class.



I also made a cute frame...... just like scrapbooking a page, but on a different element than a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock.



This weekend I am going to paint the main floor bathroom- creamy yellow is the color. We will see what the end result looks like.



GREAT NEWS! The Regence parking garage is 'expected' to be done by June 26 so I will no longer have to shuttle to work. I am sooooooo overjoyed by this! HOORAY!



That is all for now..... oh one last note, our dishwasher died- it has lasted us 8yrs so I guess its time has come......hope to get the new one tomorrow!

junk or treasure?

Some say that one person's junk, is another person's treasure. With that said...... I am attempting my annual garage sale on Saturday. I do it every year, and wonder why I do because it is sooooooooooo much work. I think it is the dollar signs at the end of the day. Of coarse I have nothing priced, nor ready for display. The garage is clean though and ready to for my goods. Cori is joining me this year and bringing her 'treasures'! We usually end up buying each others stuff! LOL! So wish me luck and pray for 'normal people' to come paw all over my 'treasures'- I swear some very interesting people come out of the wood work for a garage sale..................
