Rocket Man!

The Elton John concert last night was soooooooo good. I have never been a true die hard Elton fan, but I have always like his music. So with him coming so close to L-town I knew we had to go. My friend Toni came over from Wenatchee to see Elton and we took Jeff's mom (for an early Mothers Day gift). I have to say for the man being in his 60's he put on a terrific show. He played non stop! He interacted with the audience and sounded just so good.....and the man can play a mean piano! (He has these tiny, stubby fingers- I was amazed at how well he could play that piano) Our seats were 13 rows back on the floor which were pretty darn good. It was not the normal type of concert that Jeff like to go see and I tag along. We have seen Metallica, Pearl Jam, ACDC, Van Halen, Ted Nugent, Bon Jovi, Queensryche, etc. The heavy stuff.....although I would LOVE to see Justin Timberlake! (yummy) Anyway, Cori took the kids overnight, which was the sweetest thing ever!! I called her this morning to check on the kids about 7:15 and they were STILL sleeping......my kids wake up Monday-Friday at 6:00 to get up and ready for daycare (Cori's) and so now on the weekends it is usually 6:00 - 6:30 ish when they get up- but for Cori they always sleep in! Well that was the concert- stay tuned for more projects courtesy of the AWESOME Janna Wilson. I will be working in the store Friday so come visit.....and I am also teaching an acrylic album class on April 25! FUN FUN!
