FLEW BY!

The holiday weekend flew by! Now back to reality.....
The Rowden family went camping, the first outing for the season. It was FUN! The weather was GREAT! We only experienced rain Saturday night. We did a little fishing, the kids rode their bikes NON STOP and we had some yummy food ( I ate way too much, I have to get back on track). Anyway, we did have a wonderful hoilday weekend. I even scrapbooked while camping, & I finished 4 layouts. Not too shabby!

Our wash machine went belly up before we left for camping- NOT GOOD. I have piles and piles of laundry to do......

Jayton has another T Ball game tonight- so another night of laughter is in my future. I tell ya those lil boys are so stinkin cute playing T Ball. I love it! He has another game on Thursday night.

Friday.......I am biting the bullet & allowing Becky to put some color in my hair (wish me luck) and do some trimming. My hair is pretty lifeless and needs so pizzaz!

Saturday a.m. we are heading to Wenatchee so that I can spend some time with my friend Toni who moved away to be closer to her fiance'- so while I do that Jeff and a couple of his friends will be going to the RUSH concert at the Gorge.

That is what is up in my world.....back to work. I will try to stay awake today......

PACKAGE IN THE MAIL.....

Hey.... I finally received my FISKATEER package with my 'special' , way cool , new scissors. I am FISKATEER 3707! I just love receiving surprise mail that is fun! Don't you?!
**************************************
I also created a layout..... WOO HOO! We are going camping this weekend and I always bring stuff to work on, just in case the weather is BLAH- so I hope to do some more scrappin'!

**************************************
Get this..... I have to buy Jayton a cup for T-BALL! It was bad enough that he received a dress- oh I mean a shirt to wear, and his baseball pants fall off since he weighs next to nothing. But he needs a cup.... I think a walnut shell and rubberbands would work-don't you?! I mean seriously do they make them that small? I called Jeff and said that this was HIS department. I can be the one taking him to all his practices & games, but I draw the line on buying his first cup!

lil this lil that

It is official....Jayton graduated from pre-school and he is ready for kindergarten, I hope they are ready for him ......

Cori & I , along with the kids drove to Colten and went to a fun little artisan festivel that is held on a farm, inside & outside of an old red barn. I had gone to it in the past and found some amazing treasures! This year I came home empty handed, while Cori splurged on a couple things. Something for her scraproom and something for the yard-very cute finds!! The kids seemed to have fun. There was a jumping castle, and they got to plant flowers, and have some yummy treats. I attempted to take some pics of Jayton but he was being a stinker (as usual).

After we got back to town I had to stop by CPS since they FINALLY got the Teresa Collins line of papers in. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I cannot wait to create! I also stumbled across a train car with graffiti that had J A Y ...and some symbols painted on it. I thought it was the coolest and knew I had to take a pic with Jayton near it. It turned out OK. I need to go back when the sun is going down- with his blue-blue-blue eyes the sun is a killer.

I have to get some yard work done since the weather is finally warm and sunny. I have weeds to pull and flowers to plant, and a camper to prepare for our Memorial weekend camping trip...... I hope I get to sneak in some scrappin'.

GIRL?

Now does he look like a GIRL to you? "Why is she asking us if her son looks like a girl?...has she lost her marbles?" NO! I have not lost my marbles but Parks & Rec sure has. Let me set the scene..... Monday night Jeff & I take a (totally excited) Jayton to his 1st T-ball practice. When we reached the field we searched for his coach who we knew was a women since she has called us to let us know when practice was. We found her and I introduced her to Jayton. She says : "I did not know we had a boy on our team?"- I am thinking ....WHAT? HUH? Yeah! they put Jayton on a GIRLS T-ball team.....lickety split Jeff is on his cell phone trying to find out what the heck is going on- poor Jayton & I are standing there dumb-founded. Too make a long story short, we left......Jeff took Jayton to a park to practice, & a gal called us last night indicating this would be fixed and he would be with the BOYS! Had Jayton been 16 yrs old instead of 6yrs old and was put on a GIRLS team he probably would have been in HOG HEAVEN surrounded by women, but now....not so much! So, I ask you again.....does he look like a GIRL to you?

DANCE DANCE DANCE

Today was Ashlyn's dance recital.... and the girls did AWESOME! I am so proud of their dancing ( & singing )! The recital was chaotic as ever and to top the afternoon we had a pretty unique family sitting behind us (whole other story). I am glad the dance year has now ending so I can breath for a short time- oh wait.......Jayton starts T-Ball Monday- my breath break won't last long. LOL! Enjoy the slide show from the recital. It is tough to get a really wonderful photo while they dance, but this is what I got! TA TA.......
