So Mini Memories

Here is project #3 of my Crafty Adventure with Janna Wilson........So Mini Memories. It was such a quick and cute project! I used my scraps of Cosmo Cricket papers from the 'Wanted' Collection & so this will go perfectly in my kitchen. Can't wait to start project #4............

Solid as a ROCK!

Jayton & I are finally home....what a morning -we- had. Jayton's surgery was at 7:30 am for bilateral T-tubes which is a breeze in comparison to all the other procedures he has had to go through. Jayton was happy to see that he did not have to wear a DRESS this time but actually had pants & a shirt to wear for surgery. He also had a fun little surgical cap that was totally fitting for him (and our family) it was Nascar material, although it was Dale Jarrett & not one of the Rowden household fave's like Dale, Dale Jr. or Jeff Gordon (Jayton likes Jeff Gordon!). So that was the highlight prior to his surgery. I was a 'mom' today & not a scrapbookin' paparazzi.....I did not even take my camera. If my hubby could have came I would have but I couldn't bare snappin' pics when all he wanted was to cuddle. The surgery itself was quick and I was the first person he saw when he woke up in recovery. The only BAD thing about the morning is the anesthesia made him sick and so we stayed at the hospital most of the morning until he stopped getting sick. It was so odd that the anesthesia made him feel so icky- he has never had a problem with the surgeries that lasted several hours....... I guess we will see what happens the next time he has a surgery. Jayton is now back to his crazy self & running around. Kids are amazing...... and Jayton is just solid as a ROCK!

I heart my family

This has got to be my FAVORITE project ever..... I think it turned out adorable!! This is project #2 in my crafty adventure with Janna Wilson..... Heart Garland. The pictures that I found were perfect..... I am just so HAPPY with the result! I only wish I could make the wire look better. I am a bad curler/twister or whatever the heck I was attempting to do. LOL!

......if I do not get a chance to post again by Wednesday....think of my little man Jayton. He has surgery on Wednesday morning! He is such a trooper!

simply delicious

I finished my 'yummy' 1st project from my Creative Adventure with Janna Wilson! Mine did not turn out as wonderful as the 'teachers'......but it was FUN to make. Now on to project #2 which is just a cute!

I am going to a LUAU.....

.... YEP you read that right.... I am going to a Luau. Unfortunately it is not in Hawaii, but it is going to be at some place just as fantastic! Crop Paper Scissors in beautiful, historic downtown Lewiston (ok that sounded like a commercial). Anyway, Friday I am going to be decked out in my summer-ish clothes to hopefully bring some sunshine into the valley and play with all my scrapbook buddies & I get to eat the infamous Gary kabobs. YUM! Sounds FUN huh.....!!

I am going to possibly start the scrapbook I am going to make for my friend who lost his younger brother last week. His brother left behind a son a 3 yr old son that he was solely raising and I am taking it upon myself to create a lasting legacy through a scrapbook. His family can fill it with as many memories as they can to pass on to his son. That way his life will always be remembered.

Let me leave you with a photo from our carribean cruise- maybe if we ALL touch the screen it will bring some sun our way.....come on try it & pray, pray for sunshine!!

WEEKEND WIND-DOWN

Another weekend down....and work begins again bright & early tomorrow. Alarm goes off at 4:45, & have to leave the house by 6:00 to catch the 6:15 shuttle to get to work at 6:30. The parking garage is getting closer & closer to completion......HOORAY! and the bonus is a new workout facility. I had to quit the gym due to the shuttle schedule so it will be nice to get back into a workout routine. I can feel by body sagging from the lack of exercise......

Saturday night I went to Crop Paper Scissors for a fun crop night.....we ordered chinese and I managed to complete 10 layouts.

Friday night April 4th is the FUN luau crop at the store which = great music, yummy food and more scrappin'........

This coming week I am starting a totally cool online class with Janna Wilson (she's awesome!) - you too should sign on! It is called Adventures in Crafting and the sneak peeks so far have me very excited. Kristi O signed up and will be doing it too! HOW FUN!

On a sad note a good friend of mine lost his younger brother in a tragic fire....the funeral is Tuesday....I do not do well at funerals, but I still plan to attend. Keep his family in your thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.

OVERPACKED?

Ok.... I think we took everything but the kitchen sink to scrapbook camp. I stumbled across this picture that I forgot I took of my vehicle prior to departure. This is an 8 passenger vehicle, converted to a 3 passenger for Cori, Rene' & I. You will notice that it is crammed with all our merchandise from back to front, top to bottom. Obsession? NAH! Passion? OH YEAH!!
